Save the Planet, Eat a Burrito ... What's this all about?

One of the Core Values of Planet Burrito is to be Ecology Minded. This means making decisions about our business that are Planet Friendly and Environmentally Responsible. Because of this, we are committed to purchasing the following products and/or taking the following actions:

  • Seeking out Organic and Fair Trade Food and Beverage Products

  • Purchasing Recycled and Chlorine-Free Paper Products

  • Purchasing Recycled, Biodegradable and Compostable Plastic Products

  • Using Non-Toxic Cleaning Chemicals

  • Buying Water Efficient Equipment and Fixtures

  • Buying Energy Efficient Equipment and Lighting

  • Recycling

  • Employee Education

In an effort to support a Planet Responsible cause, we sell Awareness Bracelets at each location that say "Planet Responsible". Part of the proceeds from the sale of these bracelets will be donated to the Earth Day Network as part of our annual Earth Day promotion each April.
